In June 2013 our cycling tours of North Kerry will commence, our tours are designed for families so that the tour group gets the most of their experince in the natural and historical landscape of North Kerry.

Tour groups are of minimum of ten in the cycling group so to give everyone on that experience the best value while ejoying the guided tour with local historian Danny Houlihan.

The tours can be tailored to suit the various requirements of your stay, short one hour tour around Balllybunion and its locality to a two hour tour to the hill tour. The four hour tour Route of the Kings from Ballybunion along the coastline to beale stopping off at Bromore Cliffs and a picnic on Beale Strand. Passing old ruins srtanding stones and with tidal permission visit the wreck of the Thetis.

Artisan foodmakers along the route will be highlighted and it is envisaged when suitable visit these people in the preparation of thier products please (watch web site for furture updates)

Cycling Regulations

All bycycles are service and are Rigid Mountain Bike type suitable for this area saddle gels are provided at a charge.

Helmet and High Resoulution Vest is supplied and must be worn at all times.

All visitors must have their own  holiday insurance cover valid for the year 2013 a copy of which must be emailed on to Ecotrek Ballybunion 1 month prior to tour.

Ecotrek Ballybunion ecepts no libility whatsoever for acidents or injury while on tour the resposibility rest with the rider at all times.

All children under 16 years must be competant in cycling as the terrain could prove difficult for some under 16 year olds, Adults and Guardians must sign a waiver form for minors prior to all tours please contact Ecotrek for advisement.

The decision of the guide is final while on tour in relation to weather or other prevailing conditions.
